Tomorrow Oct 9 my Northern Lights and Royal Haze(both from Royal Queen Seeds) turn 5 weeks old.
But unlike the other autoflowers I have grown these two doesn't bloom at this age.
They really look healthy, I topped them 12 days ago(and the cuttings have made roots!).
They eat well(I give them urine and banana peels).
The Northern lights are 19 cm and Royal Haze are 26 cm.
They each have a 3,5L pot with fertilized peat moss.
They both have stretched and the Royal Haze have now stretched 15cm from where I cut the topping.
They hardly have any smell at all so far.
No sign of hair/pistils, but hopefully the stretching and new branches coming out from the nodes are sign of preflowering.

Are these genetic late bloomers or is it my environment who makes them halt the blooming?
They live in a 90x60x90 SJ tent with 2 china LED-lamps consuming 32 watts each(actual wattage).
Its hot, 90F/32C haven't got my new fan yet.
And lights, they are on 24/7.

Anyone with any thoughts about this?

    A couple of possibilities.
First, if the seeds didn't come in breeders' packs, they might've gotten mixed up, and not be autos.
Second, some phenotypes take a long time to start flower.
My record is 10 weeks, another took 7 weeks, but most take 3-5 weeks.
The longer the time to flower, the larger the plant will probably be, and the bigger the yield.
But a grow that takes too long will delay the next grow.

Pots too small, nowhere near enough light, topping can stall growth...

Try switching to 12/12 to trigger flowering as SOME autos will need that (they're plants, living beings, they're not machines that will do what a computer program tells them to do)

Got pics so we can see them?

    Thanks for your feedback.
I bought the seeds in a grow shop with the original package.
At home I have only autos.
Royal Queen Seeds making one mistake putting a regular seeds in an auto pack, yes it can happen to everyone, putting regular photos in two auto packs and I bought both of them is like winning in the lottery and survive a plane crash the same day, most likely not to happen ;) I don't really think they are mixed up.
Being late bloomers, yes I can believe that and I am happy if they grow big before bloom. I just hope they are done before Christmas, don't want any family member stumble upon my exotic grow ;)

I know the pots are small, I usually use 3 gallon buckets but it's the first grow in the new tent and it's limited space :/
I am growing for seeds this time so it's not very important to get a big yield other than enough seeds for the future grows :)
But small pots, isn't it like a small pot will make the plant bloom earlier because of root bound compared to a similar plant in a larger pot?
The topping didn't really stunt the plants, new top branches were made quickly and are now longer than the stem under the cut.
Grow light, yes it's far from ideal but the plants are growing and the tent are already 90F, how would it have been with even stronger lamps?
I will set up a fan as soon as they start to show their sex but I want to see how long it can go before they start to bloom in this temperature and wit the light on 24/7.
Can the combination of high temperature and lights 24/7 be the reason? In that case it might be used active to prevent autos to bloom too early to make larger plants and yields?
I will take pictures, I just haven't understood how to post them, will as about that in another section, thanks again :)

As you can see the two girls share one 32w-lamp, the other lamp are for the pollen boys(my breed)
Are the girls looking bad for being 5 weeks?
