If this was a 100 pct tried method i would harvest let it regenerate and if i like the smoke since it cured by the time pistols starts growing again then you could do a seed run and still have your sensi bud to smoke would be nice.

This was my hypothesis as well when I did the same thing with the same strain; however, the plant was not able to produce viable seeds when pollinated that far out. Maybe others will be able to get better results. I tried it twice and, the results, for the lack of a better word - sucked!

I realized these plants grow so fast and stay so small that running a dedicated seedrun with a male/female from germination will provide the best results with more seeds than you can use for personal use. Lets say $10 a seed for some premium seeds - $20 for a M/F combo will yield 300-500 seeds. That is worth it to me. My late pollinating/regenerating attempt yielded about 30 seeds that actually looked like seeds. The few that have germed were stunted and most died a few weeks into it. I consider that a waste of my time. My time is money, so $20 for hunderds of seeds keeps me happy and gives the original breeder an extra kick back. Win-Win for everyone. Just do a seed run, then de-seed and make the remains into hash. If you are an indoor grower, the cost of resources will not outweigh the benifits. You will easily spend $20 on nutes and electricity for a few measley seeds. Just think about what you are doing if you are the average grower. I don't want to discourage anyone from testing, but if you are a run of the mill grower just making some money or self meds - or god forbid a caretaker or card holder - its a terrible idea. Unless you have the time, dedication, and most importantly the DESIRE to do these sort of expirements, you probably won't get what you want out of it. I very much encourage experimentation, but remember success is 99.9% failure. I just hate to see people have high expectations and be let down. Good luck with your testing for all that try. Without it we wouldn't be where we are now.

Just some words of wisdom for the inexperienced in the group. Be careful, thoughtful, and logical - The most important part is to keep growing.
