it's said and believed that plant needs dark time and it only grows in dark ..... but how not in case of autos .... some applied 24*7 light in case of autos ..... wats true in both cases ?

im not sure tbh but i read that the roots grow more in the dark because the plant is resting so less energy is being spent on growing the plant. seems logical enough to me so i choose to belive that a few hours darkness helps the roots grow. i do 24/7 the last few werks though.

Have also read that plants produce the sun screen to protect them during the night. The resin. But I run 24/7 and have frosty nice healthy plants. Just too lazy to get timers and a schedule lol.

Every auto I have grown is 24/7 since 2014 not once have I tried any other light regime. It has worked good for me.

I was looking into this matter of feeding carbohydrates to your plants and I have found out that this is indeed very debated topic. For you saying that it is pseudoscience, I guess you must then also label a whole host of scientists as such since I've read from their publications also something quite different. Now I from my part cannot make any claim to direction or another, but to just voice that I have some difficulties on establishing any set of "belief" over this issue that you would, in fact, be more correct in your position than some of these studies or their authors.

I am sure there are a lot of claims of this and that but perhaps you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater?

Dug out some studies on this topic:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC550030/
    https://www.researchgate.net/public...ots_and_its_transformation_in_the_rhizosphere
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11135118
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC543374/

I tend to put some carbohydrates to my feed when I use beneficial bacteria. That is mainly what I use it for but if some gets directly absorbed by the roots to the plant also, isn't that just extra energy she can then use? All in all this seems to be really complicated topic.

Tangilope, bubba kush and some of this and some of that and...

As you say, a complicated issue. I believe (what I say when I cannot cite) that the plant cannot break down the complex and large molecules in most of the carbs we feed like molasses or bsm. There should be enough benes in the aggregate to consume it and provide for the plant. BSM has a lot of other goodies in it that I am sure the plant can use. I have read that excessive molasses will actually smother and kill the herd.
Then that begs the question for me, how many benes, or can you go overboard with these things. There are more and more on the market everyday and they are not cheep! MammothP Recharge, Photosynthesis Plus, etc,

I'm going to bring in @Waira for the definitive answer to this, as I use Advanced Nutrients B52 and would like his input on that question!:headbang:
