I was about to make a thread asking if the 'perfect curing' with hydrometer was really necessary.

Then I saw this thread and realised that I can get one for like £2 :O

All those ones from China and HK are the same, the cheapest on eBay UK is:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Digi...pt=UK_Kitchen_Accessories&hash=item460e36e1f8
Seller looks very good, and they will even reship if its DOA haha, not bad for £1.89

been meaning to pick up one of this! just a heads up that they have the caliber iv and the caliber iii are discontinued

same price! (around $20) but the caliber iv can be self calibrated as well

(i have yet to pick up a hygrometer -- one day!)

this are the ones overseas si?! i was looking at this as a cheap alternative to caliber iv but wasnt sure about the accuracy.
might bite the bullet (since its cheaper) and maybe purchase 2! then the caliber iv eventually.
