I’m usually growing autos, but during the hot AF summer here, I’ll grow 4 photos outdoors. And do 2 autos in my indoor 4x2.

This is Bertha. She’s an Amnesia Haze. Seeds from New420guy. Vegged in the shop, in my 8x4 for 70 days while some autos finished up. And before it got too hot in there.

Shes topped out now at close to 12’. And starting to pack on some serious fruit.

That's a whopper ! And lovely too, bud and more bud nice work.
Thanks! I've got 3 others outdoors - 2 Sunset Sherbet at around 8', and one GSC at around 7'. But this one just exploded. Obviously did some hard training on her (and the others) in veg. And I'm using those temporary fence stakes to open her up more, and get all the fruiting site more light, which works well. I notice that the photos do way better when getting them beefed up in a tent, before letting them go wild outdoors. Yield will probably be so good, that I will probably continue with just a couple autos in the indoors 4x2 for a while? Of course, I am chomping at the bit for cool weather again so I can fire up the8x4 and run at least 6 autos per run. We shall see.

Haha! It’s almost ridiculous isn’t it? Thank you for the kind words. Oddly, no matter how massive this girl gets, it’s still not as satisfying as a great auto grow.

I cannot wait to hear what the dry yield from that turns out to be. I think you might have to take it to a truck stop someplace where they have truck scales. Speaking as a first time grower, it's a real inspiration to see a plant like that so thanks for sharing. It's a great example of what's possible. I have one that's probably a bit north of 8 feet but it's nowhere near as beefy as that, it's far more sparse.

Thank you. I am almost fearful of the yield to be honest. I believe I'll need to finally pick up one of those bowl trimmers. I hate trimming enough as it is. I've got 3 other beasts out there, but Bertha is the prize.

As far as beefiness. They were all pretty much mainlined in my Fall-Spring 8x4 in my shop. Topped, super cropped, topped again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Anything I had to do to keep them from hitting the light in their half of the tent. And vegged for 70 days.

So that created some true soldiers, ready for battle. I moved them outdoors when it was time, and they didn't even blink. They just kept going through this heat here in the Los Angeles area. I did have to repot Bertha into a 20 gallon fabric, and she could go into an even bigger one. But enough is enough. The other 3 are still in their 7 gallons, which is a little funny, but I don't have any other 20 gallon pots and they're doing ok in the 7s.
