I'm looking for for tips and guidance on using rockwool. I've always used hydroton or coco coir with my hydro grows but I'm liking what I see from grodan cubes. But there is very little info for using them with autoflowers. Does any had alot of exsperience with rockwool. I'll be using a top feed drain to waste method.

I use 4 inch cubes in hydroton in a recirculated drip system.
You going to run something like the flora flex gear mate?

Are you referring to the 1/4" rockwool cubes? I've tried them and my only beef is that they don't hold the plants very well. The plants tended to lean or flop over until the roots were well established. I would also be skeptical of using them a drip system. If rockwood is kept constantly soaked it can lead to root rot. In my RDWC system I had to set my water level about 1/2" below the rockwood to keep it from being saturated. In the end I went back to using HydroCorn after trying the cubes a couple times.

I'm using the 6 in hugo and I'll be be using the flora caps and clips and automating a couple shots of feeding a day. I'm still undecided on my nutrient regiment. I'm familiar with Advanced Nutrients and I have alot of their additives as well but I can't find much about people using them with grodan cubes. All I can find is the flora trio feeding scedual and only for photos not autos wich i guees i can just lower to a 1/3rd the strength. I just hot my ebb and flow table today its 4 x6 and pretty big so filling it with hydroton would cost more than the table itself wich was 350$.

How I use nutrients in my drip-to-waist rock wool system. I have a 10 gallon reservoir with a circulation pump and an irrigating pump (2 pumps). I mix the GreenLeaf nutrients to 80% of the vendor chart. The drip schedule runs 8 times during the daily watering interval to accomplish a 15%-20% runoff. I continually top-off the reservoir with PHed water via a float valve. I let the PPMs drop over the course of three days and then bump the nutrients (~40%) up to the beginning value for that period. This is not done for any scientific purpose. I am just too lazy to bump the nutrients every day.

You can download a spreadsheet I use for this grow here

Are you using RO water? If so any micro deficiencies I should watch out for with stone wool?

No, I use tap water. My tap water is good with a starting PPM 100. You will not have any deficiencies if you use a nutrient line designed for what we are doing. Use only one line, use the entire line and follow their chart. When new to a nutrient line I always start at 50% strength and work up until slight tip burn then back off 10%. Once you are familiar with a line you can go with what you know works.
