:woohoo: :pighug: :headbang: Launched! -- and very well too Annie, nicely done- :greenthumb:.... let me back-track a bit here...
-- the original seeds germ'ed, are they all auto's? 00 Seeds, one of the companies I've not seen much about, I do recall a while back some quality issues (germ', weird pheno's).. All i can say if at this this point, if they have not stood out here, there's likely a reason...... I do grind over germ' fails! I tried some old stock this round, an amazing ahead-of-it's-time auto by the now defunct HighRise, GHz99,... had some older parent plant C99a too, some of those were misfires = but got a couple going finally!
.....great score on the 'Phisto's! Interesting, Deep Blue C is back as a parent,.. that was one of their very first strains, well regarded too... SN is really really delish' by all reports, knock-down nite-nite stuff! I can't wait to run her myself, she's in queue for next round.... AvsT is a legend :dizzy:....FEx is superb too, that girl will have you cleaning bathrooms at 2am-
... So, 10 plants should see you busy for a bit-- just wait until mid-late bloom, when they have separated from each other in development, you'll be making different meals for some!

Soils, did we chat about this? If not, bare in mind my cautions about FF soils,... OF especially... and look into getting that Accurate 8 soil pH probe, or identical unit under a different brand name, this is w worthy investment... FF soils have been commonly problematic for a while now, some OK bags, other a hot mess,... HF tends to be better, so fingers crossed for this round, if they are OK so far, that's a good sign! Do you have a pH meter? For shits and giggles, you can do a basic slurry test with soil out of the bags, very simple: take about 1/4+ cup of soil, add in the same amount plus a bit more of RO water (must be low ppm to not skew readings), mix and let sit for 1/2hr... Some tests call for a 1:1 soil to water, other 1:2 soil:water; I thing too much water dilutes things too much, making the pH less accurate for what's in-pot,.... Strain liquid off and test! ......... next time, since your in CA like me, look for Sanctuary Soils, Victory Mix or Empire Builder (richer, not for seedlings), vastly superior and worth the extra $!

>> I saw the asymmetrical leaf mutie, nothing to sweat there...
>> transplant went well! I'm stoked that tutorial was helpful...

>> They all look to be happy girls Annie, LST is smart! That spongy tie is good stuff, I use it too, especially on the larger photo girls where some string force is applied; thinner stuff can cut, scrape, slip,...

:smokeout: :goodluck: betcha can't wait for bloom to be on! oh, the selection of aromas, sights,... so much porn! better start working on your flash photography skills, we have hig standards for bud shots here!
Hello Waira! We previously discussed soil but I did a mix of happy frog and ocean forest with extra perlite added. For my seedlings however I mixed this mixture with some EB Stone seedling mix. At first the seedlings were quite dark due to excess nitrogen but they seem to be calming down now that they are getting older and hungrier. I haven't used any nutrients except calmag, water soluble mycorrhizal fungi, and fulvic/humic. Anyways I have almost every way to test pH that I know of. Soil (probe, reaction agents) and H2O (drops, and meter.) I don't trust the pH H2O meter one bit and need to acquire calibration liquid. My soil concoction is resting at a 6.5-6.8 right now on the probe. I unfortunately have another bag of happy frog and ocean forest here. I always get extra soil because too much is better than too little, but this time I really overestimated how much I needed. So not the next time but after that I will try one of those soils. Are they just at grow stores or is it available at nurseries?

The 00 seeds was a n00b thing to do and I do not recommend them at all. I got it as a cheap trial pack of three strains. The Sweet Critical here is doing just as good as the others. It is already showing flowers but I wished it would of veg more. It does however have the largest of nodal growth. But the Blueberry and White Widow failed to germinate. I dug around after a week or two to see what was going on and it seemed to grow .1 inch and then just stop. Could be my fault but I was able to germinate all other seeds from other brands. (Mephisto, Sweet Seeds, Barney's, Seedsman, Nirvana, and Fastbuds) I love fruity strains; citrus, mango, and berry nothing beats it. I am most excited for strawberry nuggets and the mystery bean. Oh! and the photography, you don't know this but one of my main hobbies(besides gardening) is taking field macro photographs of native flowers. I think I am going to try daylight photography first. I attach a photo of mine in the next post

I had to cut the quality into a quarter. The file was wayy to big for the specifications of the site. Notice how the bee's head is the one that does the pollinating and its pollen catchers are empty. Pretty cool how nature evolves together. This is Salvia mellifera (Black Sage)

hey annie, fellow outdoorist,

how do you do and your plants? some posts have gone missing during the AFN outages, but I remember you went for a trip for couple of days. Are you back already? How did husband handle the plants?

I am looking forward seeing any updates in your thread.

@HavanaJazz I’m still on vacation right now I will be back in a couple days. So far so good with my plants back home from what I can tell from the pictures he’s sent me. They have stretched and doubled in size since I’ve been gone. I didn’t want him to attempt LST so things have gotten a little wild on many of the plants. Oh and I’m definitely not married :crying:

Just got back today! Had to prolong my trip because I had an emergency train ride to go on with my dad. Growth looks good so far, regardless of that my plantsitter refused to deal with my “stinky” liquid fertilizers on the cannabis. Many things are in disarray here and I’m afraid I’ve lost months of progress on some of my vegetable garden. Will have plenty of photos and a more in-depth explanation later tonight so stay tuned!
