    Currently Smoking:
    Everything!
350ppm isn't to high to start in coco! with remo maybe, but with general hydroponic flora series or even AN, I start much higher then 350ppm out of the gate without issue ever! Ph being the key function, nothing is provided in coco except what you provide for it, so unlike soil coco needs to be charged...

    Hey Medi :pass: :d5:

Just to add a caveat - i've only ever used CannaCocoProPlus as a medium and measure in EC (rather than ppm). This said, i'll do my best to share what i've gleaned from my coco grows.

While 6.0 is in range, i'd dial it down a bit to 5,8 (others go lower to start ...however i've found that for a hassle free coco grow - 5.8 can be maintained throught out the whole grow with success (no need to increase alkalinity for PK uptake at week 8 or thereabouts).

I'd go with medi on the PPMs ... I start at no lower than 0.8EC and no Higher that 1.0ec.

I never check run off as have been advised my canna that it's unreliable in coco. As coco is soiless, i assume that the medium EC (and ph) will be as i set it with the streghth of feed i add.

From a suitable age (day 30ish) i will always water to run off to avoid salts buildup.

I Always check the EC prior to PH adjusting.

Hope these basic tips help you get to a fine harvest! :D

    All the best
    Blue ^_^

    Hey Guys,

First time grower here using Remo and learning as I go. My sprout is on day 5!

    Medium: Coco
    LED :100watts 16"
    RO Water

    Here is my feed (5.9ph)

    MagNifiCal 0.5ml
    Micro Grow 0.5ml
    Bloom 0.5ml
    Velokelp 0.75ml
    Silica 0.5ml

Is this due to Low Nitrogen? And if so would that mean I need to increase MagNifical?

Also I know @MedGrower even though you are using DWC is your feedchart ok to use for this setup also as a baseline?

Is your feed done per Liter or per gallon? If per liter, I think you need to do 1ml/liter. Not 0.5.

If you need N then I think you want to add it with an increase in Grow, not their calmag.

Feed is per litre. I'm going to increase the nutrients next feed and see how she reacts.

After reading a bunch more posts I'm sure I can go much higher, just trying not to kill it on my first attempt lol. Learning lots!

Less is usually better so I can see why you did that. But then again you don't want to have your seedling have slow development. The first 20 days are critical (with autoflowering strains) and I always strive to push them as much as possible. Watering/moisture levels are especially critical for seedlings and their roots. Too much and you'll drown them or really stunt them. Too little moisture is bad too obviously.

I think they are growing ok as per everyones input on my journal, and once I have a few grows under my belt ill be better at this lol. I mixed my feed and it's at 1ml / litre so I'll give them a feed later this evening and see!
