Indoor Grow KiS Bio Char Mix Meets Mephisto

  • Well, we're still working on things and I imagine we'll see some bugs, some breaking, and things that need to get fixed. We'll start on the most critical things first and work our way down. We're still installing add-on's and squaring away some licensing stuff, but feel free to browse the board and we'll update everyone on when things are added, restored, or otherwise changed.

Other issues are bugs .... With beds come possible bugs .....

The SIP Containers actually have a self watering system .....

https://earthbox.com/earthbox-automatic-watering-system

The fact that the water / moisture level of the soil is always perfect makes it tough to beat.
I know, but you and others say it needs to be filled daily. That is not ideal for one location. Bugs however are not good anywhere. I was assuming that I could run a plastic cover, like you do in the Earth boxes? A barrier to entry and escape. I don't want bugs. So that is something I need to do more planning it I do beds. I can't have bugs ruining things.

Nutrient Pack not necessary ......

I set mine up similar to this .....
Note the vegetable container is no longer recommended- rather the ones I showed you are the correct ones to use ....

Yes on the straw but you can get that from feed supply store and double as Halloween Decorations for awhile .....
Nutrient pack is needed in 30 days, correct? I was going to get 1 cubic foot versions. Junior Earthbox. Right?

Nutrient pack would be a good reamending tool. You should not need it for first cycle, but after, maybe.

A healthy soil will have bugs, it's pests you want to avoid. The predatory bugs will help prevent pests. There is bugs in the KIS soil, but the beneficial type.

Brother Slow - EarthBox has a system that’s keeps the container filled with water .... or ....

With autowater system it will stay filled, so I am not sure what you are saying?

Try the earthboxes first, one step at a time!

. Earthboxes need to be filled daily down the watering hole. Unless you set up a timer and pump to fill the watering hole daily for you. It has an overflow. For example, I could manually water the SIP containers here daily. However at one of my other locations, I am not physically there daily. Sometimes we would need it Automated. I am buying 4 for myself to try. But if I were to get more at other place in future, I would need an Automated system for occasions where neither of us will be able to physically be there. I run a pump, timer and Halo rings with my Coco set up there now. I will see how the handwatering goes with the Earthboxes at my house for a grow or 2 before anyways

Go ahead add a cup if you like, hard to goof up with dry Organics but you should not need, especially with the shorter cycle autoflowers.
I thought that you added some Nutrient pack to Sam's Crack, around day 30? I am probably wrong and saw it somewhere else, but I did see it somewhere you can add it if needed. I am sure a fast Auto would not need it. But maybe for re Ammend after harvest.

Brother this is a system to take care of the watering needs while you are away on vacation- click on link

I did top-dress but not with the nutrient pack - but again you can do .... see set up video I posted earlier .....

EM 1 is more important than nutrient pack.
