That piece of beef looks rather briskety if that's a word. Hell yeah. I really gotta try smoking some chicken again...it's been a LONG time. I actually got some real meaty chicken lollipops that I am gonna blast tonight on some charcoal. I had one from a friend last weekend and I've been thinking about it ever since, so I grabbed 5 pounds for 5 bucks yesterday morning and made a Italian and vinegar bath.
You know what I had the other day that kinda blew my mind? Frozen White Castle micro cheeseburgers with onions. I hardly ever get anything from that corner of the hypermart, but ya gotta admit cooking from scratch can get kinda ridiculous, especially for a quick snack or lunch treat. These little burgers are just the ticket...as good as McDonalds dollar menu. I HIGHLY recommend y'all stoneurs grab a box or 3 for the next munchy fit if ya have never tried em. Now I understand why Harold & Kumar made such a big deal about going to White Castle.
Speaking of that...this millennial chick I know took a 10 hour round-trip visit to Pennsylvania last week to get fucking Krispy Kream glazed donuts.
I think there might have even been some LSD involved. I know the idea was crafted under the influence of hard liquor a week prior. Ahh....to be a young Dummy Mex. At least it's better than taking selfies...lol
I love the Krispy Kreme especially hot off the press. don’t have any of them up here. So when we run into one.... we run into one LMAO !!! Love them white castle minis especially with Onions!!! Love this smoker but I did go and do my own thing like using a cast iron pan propped up directly over the flame to replace the chintzy pan that came with it. Over all pretty happy with it. Lmao just remembered my first run!!! Why the hell cant I get 250 outta this POS!! This went on thru the whole session. Then... why is this over done!!! Yup I was watchin the celsius side of the friggin thermometer. To many beers explains this!!
So My wife and I put up some fig jam today.
It is handy having an outside burner to process the jars.
We were just talking about figs yesterday. They make ya poops....but man if they aren't one of the prettiest looking nature foods. I love the color in the kettle.
And this man totally gets it. You've either got an outside burner or you don't. It's the best for whipping up sides while you're using the grill, and I've heard it works well for making figgy jam.
@Frankthetank I want to thank you for posting the Ranch dressing recipe. My family loves it. Only thing we did different was use black pepper but
now have some white pepper and can't tell the difference.
