Come give us your thoughts; we want to hear from you!
  • We're looking for grower submissions for any autoflowers that they have had tested by a lab or using a home testing device. The idea is to create a grouping of tests that we can use a resource to show growers (both new and experienced) what kind of cannabinoids and terpenes some of the strains we're growing are testing out with!

Appreciate any help and consideration! Click here for the thread!

We have a "mini", and honestly don't use it that much, and it's the only press I've ever used so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, I find it easy to use and it seems to work as advertised. I say "seems to", because I'm not really sure how much rosin is left behind in the hard 'puck' that is left over at the end. I have gotten what I consider a substantial amount of rosin from each press, but I've been using some top quality (if I do say so myself) fresh home grown as a starting point. My latest has been Double Grape, and it makes a ton of rosin. It also feels well built, seems really solid, for what it costs I hope/expect it will last a long time.

Part of what has limited how much we use it is finding a good refillable vape pen. We have a KandyPen Prism, and it works well, although I find it challenging to clean. I suppose that would be a different review.

Anyone else have a NugSmasher? I'd love to hear what others think of them. I would imagine that with most things, there are far less expensive ways to make one's own heated press. When I researched that at the time of purchasing this one, all the DIY presses I saw were large and would work well for commercial scale pressing, but would be overkill for us.

I have a similar 1 to urs and it's good I actually don't use it much as I prefer the tastes of quality bho now I have a 3x7 caged unit from dab press and it's great works well but again the fact you loose so many terps and like you said there's stuff stuck inside but trying to remove the flower from the bags after squishing which is a good idea if you enjoy eddibles which is much easier to deal with making if doing bho anyways I'm glad to see and here so many new comers growing there own cannabis is so great I absolutely love it. Anyhow sending good vibes and karma your way and hope to see more of your progress ect especially with concentrates as they are the only thing I personally vape/smoke and also with your vape does it have to be discreet or would a e cube or a greenlightvapes 510 nail like these https://discountenails.com/collections/portable-e-nail-kits?page=2.

Pressed white crack on quarts
I have the mini, it gets a workout here... bet it goes through an ounce or more of flower a month.
Works great, I don't use the bags anymore, just parchment paper.
While I could have beat the cost some by going DIY, I was thinking more about weather the 2x2 plate would be large enough. They have an awesome upgrade policy.

save the pressed pucks, when you have a ton, grind and make butter.

I love my mini. Have had it for 1 and half years now with weekly use now. Alot more early on. No complaints at all. Every strian is different though. Some press well some dont press as good. My best has been white crack by mephisto. I've grown it 3 times with every press above 20% slot about 24% and once I got 29%. fantastic little machine for personal use. And it's been used it's fair share. Thanks for the review. They make quality stuff.

I love the edibles from the pucks. Ounce per half cup to cup is what I use. And is good enough for me. I gave up on the bags. I've found i like one gram balls. Toss a g on parchment paper and good to go.

I would love a rosin press for when I get good at growing, but they do seem rather pricey for good quality ones.
My Norwalk 270 hydraulic cold press juicer I'm sure will be good for pressing kief anyway, so that's a start :)
