That is a very good thought, our tap water here has a shift every 6 months, you can smell it. (Delta water) Didn't think of it using RO.

run-off ppm are much to high, shouldn't be more than 250ppm higher than inputs,... Andlower that ppm input a lot, like 700ppm, not including the water... that's too hard for coco mate, no way around that, too much CaCO3 going in, forcing pH up,... coco needs to run 5.8-6.2-ish,....
... a bit on the cool side in general, slows uptake and transport down,....
... BUT first, you need to get that current nute salt build-up removed! In coco, it has to be done differently than soil... recommendations I see are with RO/Di?very low ppm water, with 150ppm Ca-Mg, plus another 150ppm of base nutes, pH to 6.0, and poured through until at or near input values,... right now the pH is off, the load of nutes in there is screwing with that and the CEC,.. the excess has to get removed!
This is coco growing mate, it's not easier than soil by any measure,... you may get away with improper methods on occasion, but sooner or later it'll catch up to you,...

It didn't work for me. After reading your advise, I put 10L water in a bucket and let it sit for about 30 hours. The pH didn't go down, pH 8.3, 170ppm. That reminded me I did something similar before, I mixed up some nutes and changed it to pH 5.8, used half of it. The next day before I feed again, checked the pH was 7.5. It went up for me but not down. Thanks for the tips tho as it may work for others.

Flushed her today with pH 5.8, 170ppm tap water.

:smoking: How's it going Troop'? ...what was the run-off pH and ppm's?
.... do you have any of those self-fill water machines around, or a water store? that's the less $$ way to get very low ppm water, unless you want to invest in an RO system, which usually aren't too bad for price,... a small unit, 3-stage is fine, 25-50 gallons per day can be had for about $60-$150 in USA (if you're stateside?)... Hydrologic makes excellent units!

Thanks Waira again to help. I have looked into the RO system, it is not too expensive here but I would like to try a couple more plant first then consider. I know I may encounter more problems and frustration but it is the price to pay to learn, sorry that I am a little stubborn  But the RO system will be in my future upgrade list.

I don't know what the problem is/are anymore. I flushed her in the last two days, with pH 5.7, 174 ppm water with about 10L, run off ranges from 1850, 2300, 850,750 then down to 350 ppm. I feed her with pH 5.8, 1100 ppm today (base water was 174ppm), the run off was 664ppm! I am not giving up yet but it is weird!

With the abuse in the last 2 weeks, she doesn't seem to grow/flower any further. I will see her till the end and hope she will make a come back, weed is strong, I hope, lol

Let me call in my coco-Guru @arty zan .... I'd say the feeds are too strong still, especially for a troubled plant.... more conc. will not make her take up more,... I think he runs from about 1.0 EC (1.0 EC = 500ppm) for seedlings, up to 1.7EC in prime bloom, tapering off some in late bloom (nute consumption naturally slows down that last week or so,)... I still think the CEC is screwed up, giving you all these wild swings and variations... He also recommends that the harder the water, the more run-off you have to get, hence the wisdom of RO! You can blend the tap water in some too if you like,... BTW, did you flush with the solution recommended above? It's made that way to not only remove excess, but to help restore the CEC again,.. straight water may make matters worse!
Coco is a bitch when it goes wacko like this my friend, I feel you frustration! It's one reason why I don't bother,... coco is great-- after you master it! Arty run's a drip system I believe, grow monsters in small pots, but that under a very "hydro-like" system...... Good soil is so much more simple and forgiving, and I highly recommend that you try soil next round... Are you in the States? If so, I can offer a few good choices for soil,... You may even consider one of the "water-only" soils, like SoHum or KIS offers,... Though they still recommend that to get the very best out of it, some additional goodies go in (all good for coco too BTW),... Si, humic-fulvic, inoculants, kelp/micronute supp's, even some PK boosting during bloom to really fatten them up...
I saw the fantastic Fruit auto you grew today! :clapper:  I can see why you wanted to keep the same gig going,... alas, now you see why I cautioned you about coco's lack of flexibility and bitchiness!

Thanks for the reply again and you have no idea how much I appreciate it!!! Yes, I did flush with the recommended solution. So what do you recommend me to do now? Flush her again with your recommended solution or just use the above solution for the next feed?

Unfortunately I am not in the States but please let me know what good choices for soil, then I can have a go. I am about to start a grow battle, this can't happen! As I am growing for husband pain relief, I can't afford to mess up with the plants. So I will give soil a try (hope to do a normal harvest) but still not giving up on coco (learn more from it)yet.

New medium, new nutes and more research...........lol
