First time growing so forgive my ignorance. I have a Jack Herer Auto @ 66 days from popping soil and I'm looking for some guidance on when to start a 2 week flush. I believe my trichomes are cloudy with very few beginning to turn amber. Any advice appreciated.

I see a few ambers in there bro.. how 'done' do you want them is the question.. more amber more physical stone effect they say.. not sure if there's science backing that.. as for flush.. im with arthur.. feed til chop.. its a dividing issue like most things canna!!

If u stick a few bud shots/plant shots on it be easier to gauge where u are but at a guess now id say your 2 weeks estimate should be about chop time.

Appreciate the responses. I'm kinda on the fence about flushing anyway as it kinda bothers me starving the plant for it's last few weeks. As I imagine with proper notes it would still have some fattening up to do.

So I'll skip the flush and watch for some more Amber's then chop.

For a minute there, I thought this thread would be a flush or no flush debate...some things just get too much attention to be so unnecessary......IMO...you're not quite ready to chop.

Dabs of Rosin.
I personally feed right up to the day I chop. You look to be a week or more from ripe. Just depends on the buzz you like.

The last two weeks of ripening the plant directs all of the energy (carbohydrates) to the buds. This would be to give the seeds (we don't have any) as much stored energy as the plant could muster. This means that the plant is not sending those carbohydrates to the roots to feed the root Biome and it gets sleepy. If you feed the soil molasses at this time it makes up for the missing carbs from the plant and it keeps the biome producing nutrients at full speed. This aids in fattening the colas. Cannabis can uptake carbohydrates as well.
