I was wondering if there are any other members who put their Mason jars of bud in the refrigerator? We started doing this recently and within the first few hours we noticed a few positive points!

1) some bud that we had that was over dried. After a few hours in the fridge actually regained moisture. Was no longer crispy/brittle.

2) bud started burning longer/slower in our joints. Dry bud usually burns up quick and doesn't go out often. The over dried bud that was once a fast burning joint became "slow burner."

3) ***The most Important point!!***
The cold fridge seems to enhance the terps! Certain strains such as Chocolope wasn't really tasting like it smelled. After 24 hours in the fridge it DEFINITELY tastes like it smelled now!!

We've also noticed the bud isn't really getting cold. The glass is nearly frozen cold lol and the bud very slightly cool...

We are going to continue to do this from now on. Just thought I'd share.

I cure in a fridge, I store my herb in one too. I've even tried drying herb in a fridge, it worked, but it took a long time. Cool arid conditions are perfect for cure/storage. I read somewhere, that if your nipples don't get hard in your dry room from the chilliness, it's too warm. I want to adapt a fridge to allow a little air in/out, and dry in there all the time, but because the fridge is sealed, theres no where for the moisture to escape.
Thinking.....

A fridge is usually humid. Put a sensor in there to check. Putting an open container of water for a bit would help raise the RH for sure. I've heard of people putting their weed in the bathroom for a couple hours and running a hot shower to steam up the room a bit works wonders. Never tried it though.

A fridge isn't humid, only if the door is left open. A soon as the door is closed, the moisture forms on the cooling coils, the water is then pumped out into the atmosphere, and it becomes a very dry environment. I've measured it at 20rh, but open the door, it can shoot up
