Hi,

I'm growing my first two plants, White Widow Autos, and the one that's further ahead was topped. The two tops that grew from the topped node are now so bud-laden that I'm worried about them breaking. Is that a real possibility, or am I being paranoid? If the former, what do folks do the help support the plant. The only idea I could come up with is a dowel stuck down alongside the plant and then tying the colas to that. Thanks!

Yes they will flop but they will lean first. Use your dowel or a string to the ceiling. Breaking isn't usually a problem. I'm in the middle of harvesting one I thought didnt need support oops

Use plastic coated wire....choose one branch that is flopping on the opposite side of another branch that is flopping and wire them half way up the branch while holding them upright. The pull on each direction simultaneously will keep them both from falling over. Repeat for all branches.

Next grow...use more circulation to toughen branches. Consider using silica in your feed schedule.

Thanks. I ended up using a dowel with some string loosely wrapped around each cola, just to keep them upright. I do use AN Rhino Skin for my silica.
