You’re going to see so much growth when you return ☘️! I often enjoy going away, then returning after a while to see the progress. Right now I look at mine everyday .

I hope you don’t have males, but as you say, that wouldn’t be such a bad thing after all! Wise words about the F3, acclimatization is awesome, truly incredible to see a strain of any plant adapt to its environment over such a short period of time.

If it’s not work, or if it is, enjoy your time away. Sending you and the ladies (hopefully) the best energy! Best of luck!☘️☘️

Unfortunately, no opportunity to check on them...

Growth -- yes. Just hope it's not growth of seed heads...

Update -- Mandala Safari F2 and Friends

    Found the time!
We have them all sexed now, and there was only one more male.
We are therefore now down to ... 7 ladies of various ages.

    Group 1
    20180213 Safaris & Friends (1).jpg
This one is a lady! About 12" tall.

    20180213 Safaris & Friends (2).jpg
And so is this little one. About 9" tall.

    Group 2
    20180213 Safaris & Friends (3).jpg
Another young lady, also about 12" tall.

    20180213 Safaris & Friends (4).jpg
    This one is obviously male.
Close up after he got the chop:

    Group 3
    20180213 Safaris & Friends (5).jpg
Another young lady. Also about 12". Has three nice tops on her.
Her leaves are a little crinkled. Not sure why.

    20180213 Safaris & Friends (6).jpg
A little one, maybe an auto, tucked next to her. About 8". Very small.

    Group 4
    20180213 Safaris & Friends (7).jpg
This is the early maturing one. Very dark. About 12" tall.
Has some nice purple in there.

    20180213 Safaris & Friends (8).jpg
Little one, maybe auto, down next to her. Only about 8" tall.

All the older flowering females have very large calyxes, which is a good sign.
Hopefully the predicted good weather coming up will let them bloom better.
The fast maturing lady still needs a few weeks at least.
They are all very healthy, good color, no yellowing at all.

    Love and hugs,
    MJS

    Hey!

Its awesome that you managed to get out there before your trip, good job. Congratulations on that ratio, thats really great news!!! You must be a proud mother :D! They are looking lovely, keep it up.

With regards to the one thats leaves are curling upward, it could be from the roots being too wet all the time... or from heat/humidity stress? Anyone keen to confirm? Either way, there is not much that you can do about it, considering its outdoor ;) But she'll come right...I'm keen to see the update on your return! Keep well.

Probably the wet. It's been raining almost every day for over a week, I think.
Forecast for this week is 7-10 days with no rain at all.

I shall check when I return in a week.

@Waira or @912GreenSkell or @Dudeski -- any ideas what the crinkling is from?
It's been coldish for a while, a fair amount of rain.
But I've never seen this from moisture. Is it the cold?
Most leaf crinkling I've seen, like "taco leaves", is too much heat / sun.
Def isn't from too much heat or sun, haha.
Or, are the roots just hitting the chicken poop at alkaline pH??
But it doesn't look like any nute toxicity or pH issues IME.

I am going to leave this one up to @Waira ...he is the wizard of diagnosing potential issues, and all i would do is stab in the dark at it. ;)
