Lol yeah she was a ripleys og and she was a bute. Your thread title caught my attention. It is definitely my intention to change the game. I am creating a system of growing that I truly believe will be the standard for commercial farms in the not too distant future. Being able to produce and entire crop of super top shelf nugs in under 60 is where it’s at!

exploring the genetic potential of autoflowers(specifically in the commmerical space)is my kink if you will. I’ve been here a lonnng time(AFN that is lol) I display my AFN tattoo with pride! I have several documented grows on here, go back and give em a read if you’re bored. You can also see the many many times I have failed(including burning up my greenhouse last year, oops)

I will probably start my new journal in the next few days and I will be sure to tag you. It’ll be just a bunch of boring stuff at the beginning ie products I am ordering and updates on the construction. Should be a fun ride this go round

Limiting synthetic nutes used improves terpenes. Mankind has yet to better Mother Nature, FC.

Less is more. The nute manufacturers could care less how your plants taste and work, they are profit driven.
Mother nature provides UVB and UVA through sunlight. Typically during peak hours of sunlight is when plants are hit with high concentrations of both. Basically UV just creates a defense reaction out of the plant... i.e. produces more tricomes. It's just like your skin becoming tan to protect itself. Too much UV can cause degradation I just about everything. Think of sun faded anything.

Here's the article I read before buying the fluorescent UV bulb: The claims are a little sensationalized but eh.... 28%? I dunno guys.

Looks like I'd be running it just 15min/hr maybe 3 or 4 times a day. Just a quick burst here and there.
It's possible to get gains of 28% but not increase THC content by 28%. There's a difference. So if you grow a nice strain of 20%thc without UV. Add UV and you would get roughly 25% THC content. That's a 28% increase.

Definitely a click-bait style headline! @MI_sterGreen I did not put together the math correctly like you did.

Hey just curious what you got into the greenhouse frame in rough materials? I know wood is through the roof. I really like your lag. It's inspired me. I wanted some hoop houses but its not in the cards where I live right now. Now I want a lag. Lucky for me I use to work construction and have all the necessary skills to build one when I can. Hey also what did you decide for lighting? I know you were looking into those diy bridgelux strips which I've been looking at too. Need to light up somewhere around a 10x10.
Edit: oops wrong thread thought I was in Derek's lag thread saw some posts above talking about it.

My pulse pro meter changed the game for me. Its pricey at 500 bucks(well I got the black Friday deal with the pulse pro and one for 500). It measures co2,par/ppfd,lights on or off, humidity, temp, vpd with offset for leaf surface Temps. All on a streamlined app. There looking at adding some outlet controlling functionality. The other thing I've been researching is blumats or some type of automated watering. I'm a newer no till style garden so trying to marry that to technology and get great quality with less work.

I’m in here enough that I will usually come across the threads I have posted in pretty frequently.

Now to your question. I have about 2500 in frame materials and the twin walled poly panels. The panels for my 12x16’ was 1500 or so shipped and the lumber was about 1000 I think. Maybe a little less on the lumber but not much.

I wound up goin with 2 HLG650r and my 2 old school 1000 w HPS’

I think you could light a 10x10 with 2 650’s and a 300

I’m honestly a little under powered as far as light goes. I really need another 1kw of HPS but I don’t have the power to supply it atm. I should be getting a lower upgrade in the next month or so though. Just in time for flowering.

I got the trolmaster hydro x controller and it is badsss. I gotta run the internet line out to the LAG then I will have the app on my phone
